The Oronoco Town Board will accept written quotes on or before April 10, 2023. Quotes can be brought to the monthly town board meeting at 5:30 Monday April 10, 2023, at Oronoco City Hall, or emailed to the clerk at lucyoronoco@gmail.com to arrive before 4:00pm on April 10, 2023.

Written Quotes will be received for:

1. Class 5 rock for summer road repair, priced per ton and per yard, delivered and spread, including the costs of all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and other costs incidental thereof. The gradation and quality of the materials is to be in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

2. Crushed rock for winter use, priced per ton and per yard, delivered and spread, including the costs of all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and other costs incidental thereof. The gradation and quality of the materials is to be in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

3. 30% magnesium chloride for dust control, priced per gallon, to be applied at a 0.3% rate, including the costs of all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and other costs incidental thereof. About 70,000 gallons are needed.

4. As needed road maintenance including road grading and snow removal, including the costs of all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and other costs incidental thereof.

5. Icy road treatment including sanding and blading ice, including the costs of all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and other costs incidental thereof.

6. Occasional road projects including culvert cleaning and repair, right of way maintenance, weather event restorations and sweeping, including the costs of all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and other costs incidental thereof.

Quotes shall include a current Certificate of Liability Insurance.

Invoices for completed work shall include dates, work completed, where completed, or where materials were delivered to.

Invoices will be sent to the clerk either by mail or email, received by 5:00pm on the Friday before the second Monday monthly meeting.

Oronoco Township reserves the right to grant any, all or no quotes.

Vendors may submit quotes for multiple categories.

Effective January 2022, all regular monthly town board meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month at 5:30pm. Notices of cancelled meetings due to weather or other events will be posted on the township’s website: oronocotownshipmn.gov

Date and time of rescheduled meetings will be posted on the township’s website, or by contacting the clerk at 507.367.2665.

All meetings are at Oronoco City Hall, 115 2nd St NW, Oronoco.

Sealed bids will be received sometime after 5:30 PM on 4/5/2021 at the Oronoco Community Center per the attached document.

Notice of Candidate Filing for Township Election Affidavits of Candidacy for

(1) Oronoco Township Supervisor and (1) Treasurer may be filed with the Clerk beginning Dec 29, 2020 and ending Jan 12, 2021 at 5pm. Positions available for Affidavits of Candidacy are:

  • Supervisor B: 3-year term, 2021 – 2024, or
  • Treasurer: 2-year term, 2021 – 2023

Filing fee is $2.
